Its not a bad idea to just use google maps, note all the blue bits within your travel remit and go there and ask local people about the fishing, they will either not know or point you to someone who does. I did this a lot, sometimes you find a dried up farm pond, sometimes you find something useful. It might even be free or you get lucky and someone allows you to fish exclusively, rare but it happened to me on some farmers land once or twice. It can be fun just exploring and trying.
