Hi, Anyone out there know where to get day tickets for Helperby & Brafferton AC waters? I haven't been back to Yorkshire for about five years and fancy escaping lockdown for a few days. The tackle shop in Boroughbridge has closed (I've just rung the number), otherwise it might have to be Myton Grange. Many thanks.

Thanks Sam. I don't have a FB account so I can't access their website other than look at a few pages. I suppose I could join the 21st century but I've resisted this far I was hoping someone might know of alternative outlets of day tickets, shops etc. but thanks again.

I'm not sure that you need a Facebook account. Just look at the pinned first post and click on the "read more" tab at the bottom. It should expand to show the list of day ticket outlets. Most are shops and pubs in Boroughbridge and Helperby.

As an aside. Jim the owner of the tackle shop in Boroughbridge sold up and had a cruising adventure on a boat he had done up.

I'm delighted to hear that; he was a great tackle shop owner. We shared a few drinks on the three or four occasions we came up to fish.
