Does anyone know if the fishing here is still day ticket? I believe that Notts Fed had fishing on the north (Nottingham) bank and also Clifton Bridge AS had day tickets but not sure where exactly their stretch is.
Fancy a go here soon- almost 40 years since I last fished the Trent here as a student!

I'll answer my own post lol!
I fished the Clifton Bridge Angling Club stretch on wednesday. What a smart looking and well kept fishery it is too. 25 pegs downstream of the bridge, sandwiched in between day ticket stretches of Notts Fed water. Each peg has a wooden platform with concrete steps leading down to each peg. Brilliant access road and £5 a day.
Fishing wasn't great, gave up on the barbel quest to fish a waggler for lots of dace and perch- my mate had a perch at 1.5lbs.
Night fishing is for members only.
