Happy New Year to all for 2023, stay safe and well.

With the success of the last Scottish buying trip in November I am heading north once again to Scotland to meet with more clients and sellers. On Wednesday 18th January I will be travelling up the M6, through Lancashire, Cumbria, the Borders and into Scotland.

I have calls in greater Glasgow booked for later that day and welcome more. I am staying just outside Cumbernauld on the evening of the 18th. I will then travel up to Perth to meet with more clients on the Thursday 19th and will be completing the return journey back to Stoke on 20th.

Please get in touch if you are in the area or on my route and have any quality antique or modern fishing tackle to sell. We can arrange a meet on either day to suit.

Traditional fully dressed salmon flies in wood cabinets and black japanned antique boxes wanted. Antique and modern accessories, again quality and condition are the key to help us buy. We pay on the day and take it away.

As always, we are interested in antique fishing reels, rods and accessories. Hardy Perfect, St George, Bougle, Uniqua, Silex, Princess, St Andrew, Altex and fine condition Marquis reels are needed. Antique brass and wood reels in fine condition can be good news. Aerials, boxed sets & curious models welcome.

Have a look through your tackle collection and give me call on 07548 871985 / 01782 698787 to discuss what you’re looking to sell. I will try to slot in a valuation visit if you are on or near the route north or south on the 18th, 19th, or 20th.

I am looking forward to chatting/ meeting with you!
