Shimano Baitrunner summin loose behind spool

Greetings im new jus bought a baitrunner 6000b gte
from the bay an there is summing loose behind where it says roller bearing.
can anybody help. i could strip it back but haven’t worked on one of these so can anybody help pls

Did you buy it new or 2nd hand off ebay.?
I would contact the seller and return it, you shouldn't have to take it apart, unless it was specified on sales description it was faulty.
If it was specified, contact shimano felindre reel spares.

If you had bought it from a tackle shop, they would send it back for repair/service to Shimano, another reason why I don’t buy online.

well guys i managed to fix, i got the schematic for it and carefully dismantled to find that a counter balance had come loose. i reattached and glued in place put back together and it works sweet as a nut. A few hours work tho........

Glad you sorted the problem. I have two of these in the 5000b GTE series which I’ve used for both Barbel and Carp without any problems for quite a few years now, but if I do get the same thing happen on one of them I now know where to look.
