Sonik vader x rs

Hi guys, looking for any reviews or feedback on the sonik vader x rs range of rods and reels are they decent quality for the money or get what you pay for?
Been away from carp fishing for 5 years and looking to upgrade my old very heavy cheapo rods and reels

Better off looking at second hand higher spec rods if you really want an upgrade.

As a total tart, I cant believe I’m saying this, but why does the weight of the rods matter? They’re sat in rests 99% of the time!
