how do i tie a star orcrow foot knot on my pole elastic and then how do i attach pole rigs to it

Just out of interest Tim why are you not using a conector?

iam using that new hydrolastic red and the knot is to big to close the conector

Ah.Can you not just put an overhand knot in the elastic then attach the rig using a folded loop? like we used to do before connectors?Do you know what I mean? Ive seen the star knot shown somewhere recently but for the life of me cannot remember where.Unfortunately I ve yet to try hydrolastic.

tim,you can tie the elastic to a small ring
and the line to the other end.
