Just been to my local animal feed store and got some wheat....20kgs of the stuff! Anyone passing by, do drop in and take a bag or two.

Does it still hook well after being frozen?

I do hope you like it or more correctly the fish do. Thats an awful lot of sugar puffs; now theres a thought.

That should last a while! I'd found that feeding dendra's a pinch of layers mash every few days kept them happy for weeks. I'll find you some online and order it, she said. She missed the "0" in the ad, so instead of 2 kilos, 20 kilos arrived. I've been try to get rid of it like in the prison escape films - shaking it out of my trouser leg on the way to the shops.

I started using wheat for carp and roach in the mid 1960s, I was a young teenager. I am still using it with confidence, says it all really.

Just buy a sack from your local farm supplies shop, think it's about £8 a sack for 20 kilos - last you ages.

Edit: I see you've bought it already!
