Tench waters

Hi, Can anybody recommend a good tench water in the Cheshire/Lancashire areas, been stuck on a pb of 5 1/2 LB for years now and as I've just got back into fishing I would love to push that up a little. Dont mind if the water is day ticket or club.

Check out any club web sites, ie Lymme Anglers or Warrington Anglers. Some day ticket venues also have web sites, try google for day tickets waters in Cheshire and so on.

Warrington and Lymm both have waters with big tench in them mate.

If you also like river fishing WAA have lots of river as well as still waters. lymm does have the odd river stretch mainly a still water angling club

 

[The bad one]

Most of the Meres in the 3 counties {Cheshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire) would give you a realistic chance of upping your PB.
Many are club controlled, some have an open membership (no waiting list) and some are day ticket or Club/day ticket as well as membership.
