Just thinking, what about a Thames fish in ??.

There must be a section we can fish, and there is plenty of free fishing.

Ideas anyone ???

I am more than happy to make any arrangements, if someone gives me the info.

That or they is Richmond, free fishing, free parking.

How about over the christmas new year period ???

Or would end of January be better ??

Richmond is tidal so tide times can be a problem. Ideally we would need to fish the outgoing tide as the incoming can be dodgy and unpredictable....
I'd suggest Walton bridge (non tidal and free fishing) with a huge free car park, short walk to toilets and fast food.
Loads of roach, dace, big perch, bream, pike and zanders....

Sounds good to me Peter.

Can you message me any details ?? cheers

I fished Richmond a few times, but the tide never got that bad, but then it's a tide so anything can happen.

Sounds good Simon, not sure my passport's valid inside the M25 though:)

I'll join in if dates suit.

Windsor a possibility. Although Walton sounds good.

I would be up for it - prefer non tidal with easy parking. If we chose a reach with some slack water (eg backwater/lock cut etc) then if we are unlucky with weather there should still be some fishable water.

Yes please, count me in....

I have fond memories of Richmond where I fished a few times about 15 years ao.

The Pitcher and Piano, right on the river. Park in the pay and display next to the pub and sit on the edge of the dock of the bay. The usual parade of idiots who know better laughed their socks off as they walked past me "aint nothing in there mate !".

The laughing stopped when I started reeling in a (decent) fish a chuck. And lots of attractive young women came over to watch and chat ;)

PS. That isn't a vote for Richmond in particular, as it were, just a reminiscence...

Ok Lets say Walton then. Large car park, free fishing should be ok for everyone.

Now dates ????

Some can't do Christmas, so lets make it January, Saturday 10th Is that ok.

I will start a new thread once i have had some feed back on this thread.

Cheers guys.

Sounds like a good event, count me in, I may talk my son into coming too.

Does anyone have the post code of the car park at Walton? Can't get anywhere without the SatNav lately LOL...
