It would be nice if Mr Salter could ask the River Thames Society Chairman, Peter Finch, why angling is banned on their land.

Seems a strange contradiction that they want to promote it (and "sport" - according to their own statements) and yet ban anglers from using that facility.

Very good point Woody. Do they want to promote it or just control it? It would be nice to see them put their money where their mouths are.
