Can I just say, joking aside, I think that there will be quite a few other's out fishing this stretch tomorrow, so some of us could have a long walk.
Do yourself a favor and leave the kitchen sink at home .

WHAT !
Halibut pellet's !

I going now to find a late night fishing tackle superstore, did they say what size I must use, tell me, TELL ME !

I think they said 50mm. Did they call then Donkey Chokers? They also said throw in 20kgs of feed and use 3lb test curve rods and 80lb braid.

Hope this helps :)

Don't panic Cakey, I'll sling you on me shoulder.........

Seriously, there is loads of water and you can walk as far as you want. Car to water is 200 yards max, as long as Wol don't get the first good looking peg ;) I'm sure he'll save it for you mate.......

It's full of pike and devoid of barbel anyway...

Jeff are you joking about the walk ?

I think Jeff was trying to say that some who are able can walk a long way, but there are options within close proximity to where we park.

I'm also sure there are loads of fit young people (me)! who would be happy to help anyone who needs it.

See ya tomorrow

As far as I'm aware, there is only one fit young man attending?
Good on ya Muffin, thanks for the offer.
Claudia has brought the kitchen sink again!
Only kidding, she's restrained herself very well this time :wh:)

1am, back home after a great day.
Good to meet up with you all, those who I had never met before anyway. Hope tomorrow is better for you...
Next time I'll bring a couple of bigger fish with me so I can join in with the 'upping my PB' nonsense! lol

Thanks for the day Steve, more about the social than the fishing so you can cheer up now!
Hope to see you all around May time down here?

Stuck on the chuffin M25 somewhere between Heathro
Yeah thanks Steve....really enjoyed it despite the conditions and I'm sorry I couldn't stay on....especially for a few more pints of that rather excellent beer.Still I had a very interesting trip home taking in all the major towns of the area trying to find the M4.

Signs to MOTORWAYS and LONDON is what us cock-er-knees need....not Z roads to bloody Bathampton & Warminster which as far as I'm concerned is a carpet. I went home via Bath simply because I'd heard of it.

And Jeff...its about time you packed up mate !:)

lol
Going to Bath was probably the correct way home for you!
We were all glad you managed to get across your moat safely. That was the most important part of your journey.
