Hi, I am trying to find information about my late fathers 'pride and joy' rod, before I start to use it
It's been sat in a cubpoard for about 10 years since he popped his clogs, but I fancy some game fishing again.
It's called 'The Scottie' and is made by J.S. Sharpe Ltd of Aberdeen. It's the 9ft6 rod in hexagonal cane and is in superb condition and is still a very 'twangy' rod to use.
Does anybody know about it's age or value or anything about the manufacturer.
I also have about 500 of the old mans home made flies to fish with, although he seems to have tied an awful lot of 'baby dolls'!
Regards
Andy Woods.
