Hi,
Does anyone fish the tidal Thames around Chiswick? I am hoping for some pike and perch but don’t know where to start.
Does anyone get out onto the exposed river bed at low tide? If so where? And are there any areas of silt/estuary mud to avoid?
Thank you for any advice.
James

Not fished at Chiswick but have at Strand on the green, Kew bridge. Always fished the outgoing tide with groundbait feeder and maggot, mainly for the big bream. Never seen a pike caught but some perch showed. Dace are quite plentiful as are good sized roach. Once the flow of the tide stops, the bites dry up. Too dangerous to fish the incoming tide for me.

Not fished there for years. Used to fish closer to Richmond. Some very good perch but I've not seen any pike in tidal zone until you get to Teddington lock. There are huge carp too.
