Had the list of my upcoming matches in the north west, Some good venues..
Old Hough, Hampton Springs,Dunham Massey, Wrightington, Fir Tree,Cunneries, to name a few.
Early darts of around 5am to get there,
Looking forward to them. Plus matches on Newlands to look at.

Looking @Silure fishing match programme, its a lot better than mine.
I have to make do with a flask of coffee and sandwiches . And no half time break to have them.
I will be having around a two and half hours drive to get to them.
Draw 8.30am, usually fish 9.30am until 3pm depending on venue, or 10am until 3pm.
Leaving here around 5.15am to make sure I arrive on time.

Looking @Silure fishing match programme, its a lot better than mine.

The starter is usually a mixture of cured meats or duck or chicken rillettes

Main course normally a chicken dish cooked in cream or homemade sausages and chips.

Cheese follows and then a tart of some sort cherry or apple or pear.

Red Rosé or white wines served with meal and ending in coffee

What’s your target, do you have aspirations to win?

A couple of years ago I entered 9 of the series of 12, I couldnt make the first 3.
I won 4 and came 2nd or 3rd in the other 3. And 4th in remaining 2.
Everyone has aspirations to win, if I win or frame I am happy with with that, if I dont frame I think what could I have done differently, if nothing comes to mind I know I have done my best,
I fished one on Dunham fishery a couple of years ago, I drew the golden peg and myself in the sweep. There was around £120 riding on that if I won. I came 3rd. One lost fish and not going down the margin sooner cost me.

I fancy my chances on Wrightington, Fir Tree , Cunneries,Dunham,, not fished Old Hough for a long time, not going to fish Lathom, dont like the place, pool is to small for a decent match.
