Hello Rog, nice to see you back on here . . . . .

I have two Pickering spliced tip stick float rods but wouldn't part with either for the world. They are my "go to" rods for stick float fishing.

I hope you get your hands on one as they really are a joy to use . . . . .

Cheers Peter, yes a couple of the "lads" where I frequently fish have them and they look and feel a great rod. I've just managed to acquire the waggler version but I'll keep looking for the stick float model as it's the type of fishing I enjoy the most.

Hope you're keeping well and wetting a line frequently.

Yes pretty good, but not getting out as often as I'd like to. Still flogging the Hampshire Avon for roach and chub and the Itchen on the fly . . . .
