Looking to have a go myself but not till the end of the week as the temp looks good.
The severn or ribble will be my venues. But anywhere is worth a try with these weather conditions. if not the chub will oblige

Water temps are rising and a bit of water going in, you cant ask for better in January, the barbel will have a nibble.

Lodden currently 45 degrees Thames will be slightly lower,frost tonight in SE region but temp on the rise for weekend with rain Friday,so I will have a go on the Thames Saturday.Been away sunning myself over Christmas/New year so not sure whether the road salt will affect matters ?
