Who are these guys? Anything know anything about them or used their tackle? I've not heard of them and can't really find many user reviews, but the specs look good on their reels.

I think they are an Angling Direct brand, they're the only stockists.

They are a new one to me but one of my local stores (Taskers) stock them and yes their stuff looks decent and well priced , on the web at least.

The brand is owned by Sonik Sports and is based in Blythe Northumberland apparently. Sonik supply carp and sea tackle throughout Europe.

Interesting. I love Sonik's rods and you do get plenty of features for your cash. But their carp reels have got a really poor reputation for the most part. Unless you buy their best reel (itself not overly expensive) the others are just not worth the money.
Maybe under Nytro the reels are a bit more worthwhile.

I have a Sonik beach caster and it’s well made. I won’t buy a reel other than from Shimano, Daiwa or Okuma.
