hi
I am thinking about a trip down to holme marsh or collingham next week targeting barbel. any advice on pegs and tactics which might throw up a fish would be much appreciated.
Thanks Angus

You may not get an answer to your question as Meany of the barbel fisher want to keep their swims secret … I don’t barbel fish so can’t help try giving a local tackle shop a call

Angus. I think the better swims at Collingham require a couple of days wait for a peg!

Best try elsewhere.

The problem with the pegs nearest the weir is that people book them in bulk for a fictitious match and hog them. I have been told by members that they cannot access them even if they are vacant because they were booked.
