Zander

Any Zander anglers on the forum. I have just started fishing for Zander this year (two sessions for two fish)and wonder if they predominantly feed after dark. The two small fish that i have caught have come at dusk but i would like to latch into some bigger specimens. Is it best to fish well into the night or will they feed in daylight as well? There seems to be a lack of material available on Zander and i'm not fishing the fens region which discounts much of the information that i do find. Any help appreciated
