Laroussi 61lb opener for the third year runningFor the third year on the trot the Angling Lines venue Laroussi has had a fantastic opening week which saw a 60 and two 50’s on the bank.
Lee Timberlake from Aylesbury, Bucks, landed the 61lb 8oz beauty on the 12th March at 10pm, then followed it up with the 57 – pounder on the 14th at 2am. He was fishing “La Pointe” swim with Pineapple and Fish Edge baits, offering 40 chopped boilies, pellets and around six handfuls of red maggot.
But it wasn’t just Lee who had a good time. His mate Barry Cory broke his PB twice, starting with a mirror of 34lb and then an immaculate mirror of 51lb! So the 2007 season opens… and it’s business as usual on Laroussi!
