I’ve seen some camou clothing that leaked like a well worn tap. The wearers certainly looked the part but the comfort factor was zero. Give me a 100% waterproof coat in bright red any day rather than one made from camou sponge.
So be careful. All camou clothing is not the same. If you want real camou look for the Realtree label. If you want 100% waterproof look for label that says just that, then at least if it leaks you can get your money back.
This clothing from Garlands I’ve tried has certainly been the real McCoy, both in Realtree and being waterproof and breathable.
PS, the Boonie hats are very practical, but as far as this angler is concerned, I’d rather get my head wet unless no one else was around. They’re not for the vertically challenged and those who already look like a bag of spuds on a good day.
