We hear on the grapevine that Tim Paisley is fishing there right now and has caught one of Lake Cassein’s huge residents at 63lb.
Lac de St Cassein has long been famous for producing monster carp and in the early 1980’s was one of the first French carp fisheries to capture the imagination of British carp anglers.
Lying east of Cannes the reservoir is some 1400 acres in size making it a daunting prospect for many anglers.
But in spite of the amount of pressure it now receives from carp anglers from all over the world it is still capable of producing some of the world’s biggest carp.
We believe that Tim is still fishing Cassein and as yet we have no details of his capture.
