Hanley tackle dealer Brian Mellor and Stuart Botham of Dolphin Tackle in Stoke on Trent jointly hosted a series of junior teach-ins last year that were attended by over 800 youngsters eager to learn the noble art. Both men are running the series again this year when that figure is expected to rise by a considerable number.
The Potteries Tuesday night series begins on 4th July on the Trent and Mersey canal at Stoke where a number of experienced local anglers will be on hand to patrol the tow path and give advice. The series covers five weeks.
There will be a prize raffle and everyone taking part in the series will receive a tackle item.
