Fly lines are changing – and it’s the hottest topic in-store at Sportfish right now!
That they are ‘redefining’ fly lines is a bold claim for a company to make but with the new, and ever-increasing, range of InTouch lines being added to their range RIO Products believe they are doing just that.
So just what is the difference between a ‘standard’ RIO line and the new InTouch series? It’s the number one question we are being asked at present, so check out Jonathan Tomlinson’s new video and find out how it could make a real difference to your fishing.

We unravel the the secrets between the all new RIO InTouch fly lines and their ‘standard’ versions in this latest YouTube video on SportfishWorld!
It’s in the Stretch… There is no difference in the taper of the InTouch lines, these remain the same, but when it comes to stretch there is a world of difference as the ConnectCore technology used to create them results in a stretch of around 6%, compared to some 30% for the standard lines.
The result of this as far as your fishing is concerned is really dramatic as the ultra-low stretch provides increased levels of sensitivity for intuitively better cast timing, easier line lift and sharp, precise mends. The lack of stretch also means enhanced detection of subtle takes and faster reaction time when setting the hook.
In terms of control and ‘feel’ it’s a potential game changer!
