There are ten ‘Willy Wonka-style’ golden tickets up for grabs and each lucky winner will be invited down to fish for the mammoth carp that reside there. No need to eat your way through hundreds of chocolate bars to get in on this one though, all you need to do is grab yourself a copy of the book!
The Church Lake itself holds a small place in carp fishing history and has been fished by many stars of the angling world. It has been cared for and carefully developed into an outstanding fishery by Kevin as a labour of love and it’s a unique venue, holding a huge head of massive carp.
There are two ways to win. Customers who purchase a copy direct via telephone or through the website will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three tickets up for grabs with the draw taking place on Monday 25 March 2013 and, for those visiting the carp shows this winter, everyone who buys a copy of the book will be entered into a draw with a golden ticket up for grabs at that show.
