The Goo is a soak, a glug and a spod-mix additive all rolled into one package. The cloud of attraction that comes off bait treated with Goo has to be seen to be believed, and this is one of the attributes that makes the Goo so revolutionary.
The feeding triggers and flavour combinations in the mysterious liquid have been carefully tweaked to provoke a strong feeding response in carp, wherever they are in the water column. The Goo was developed by Loutjie Louwies in South Africa, where it has been used to great effect for many years, leading to the somewhat unlikely dominance of the South African national team in the World Carp Championships.
The Bait smokes are slightly softer in colour, but just as effective, and are ideal for use in almost every situation. They are so natural smelling that their addition really can’t be overdone. Usage could not be easier and it really is only limited to your imagination. The easiest way is to literally squeeze the Goo onto the outside of your PVA bags or onto your hook bait.
However, if you want to keep fish in your swim for long periods, then adding to groundbaits, or squeezing a few drops into your spod prior to each cast is another proven winner. If you are introducing boilies into your swim then roll a few baits in your chosen flavour. This will give a new dimension to your baited spot and create a cloud in the swim that is similar to the one that feeding fish create when they’re tearing the bottom up! You can even cover your hook baits in it and then let them dry in sunlight. This will then give them a dusty appearance that will produce a slower release for lakes with a lower stock, where your rigs could be out for hours.
