Metal construction makes for a more durable torch

WE SAY

This is without doubt the most powerful and durable head torch I’ve ever seen and incredibly it is not the most powerful torch in the Ledco range.

Of course, the greatest advantage of the LED torch is it’s staying power, with batteries lasting at least 10 times longer than those used to power conventional incandescent bulbs. The downside, however, is that they cast broad, fairly weak light, which is fine for simple, close work like baiting the hook. But when it comes to packing away and walking off in darkness, especially over treacherous territory on a particularly dark night, they’re just not good enough.

Until now that is, for this LED Lenser Head Fire head torch throws a beam to rival many torches with halogen bulbs.

Surprisingly, considering how well constructed it is from metal, it isn’t heavy. In fact it is more comfortable to wear than many other head torches I’ve used. And being shockproof and water resistant is an obvious bonus for an angler.

It isn’t cheap if you pay the full retail price of £ 39.99, but the quality shines through as brightly as the beam itself.

Recommended for anyone who needs a bright beam of light provided by power saving LED technology.
