Tom Maker fished over the weekend landing 30 fish up to a mirror of 25lb 06oz using large bunches of maggots in conjunction with small PVA bags of pellets at long range.
Also Ben McCullough fished an overnight session landing a 7lb common along with a 17lb 10oz mirror using Nash tutti frutti boilies along with Little Gemz and Salamiz Multi Mix from Hinders.
ST JOHNS LAKE
Fishing Linear for the first time Dean Willoughby landed a 27lb 14oz mirror during a 48 hours session using Cornwall Baits 14mm Special Occasion boilies along with maggots and micro pellets fished at short range.
HARDWICK LAKE
Scott Phillips from Aylesbury fished Hardwick over the weekend packing up just before the pike match; he lost one fish and landed mirrors weighing 13lb 04oz, 15lb 12oz and 17lb 06oz. All his fish along with one bream fell to Mainline Cell boilies and fake corn.
GUY LAKES
Steve Jackman from Kidlington had five fish during a recent session on Unity Lake, this included three stockies and along with two bigger mirrors weighing 16lb and 17lb. All Steve’s fish fell to maggots and boilies fished between 60-70 yards.
Dom Spalding spent the weekend on Yeoman’s Lake landing mirrors of 10lb, 18lb, 20lb and 23lb using Perfection Groundbaits gear.
