The first thing I always do and I’m sure most anglers do before using a new type of PVA bag is to check the bags over for ease of opening, quality and seam strength just to ensure that you won’t be wearing any of the contents after the cast! 
I have to say that the Badger Liquidus Smart Bags I used passed all checks with flying colours, the PVA was of high quality, very easy to open and seemed very strong.
The next thing I do is to fill the bag with anything available, tie it up and drop it into the margins to get an idea of meltdown times. Again the Liquidus bags impressed me with a nice clean meltdown and no messy residue left behind, now all that was left to do was to fill one up and put them to the test and see if they helped me catch fish.
The bags are quite large at 160mm long x 85mm wide so should suit all needs although I found they are easy to cut down to your individual requirements. In their standard state they can take a fair amount of bait so make sure your rod is up to it!
After a good couple of handfuls of pellets and some chopped boilies I lined up for the cast and the bag sailed away with no problems at all, I knew the area I was casting to contained some weed and this is where a good reliable PVA bag is a bonus.
They did prove themselves with a couple of nice fish on the mat and not a drop of residue on the line or rig when the tackle was retrieved.
Working out at basically £ 2.00 per 10 this represents excellent value for money for a quality product.
