Mary, the massive carp that achieved the British record breakingweight of 56lb 6oz, has finally sunk to his watery grave in WraysburyOne when he was found dead earlier this week.
He (Mary was a male) was last caught just recently at a weight of53lb 10oz and fell to Bristol angler James Woods. Witnesses said thefish looked in great shape.
Mary was found dead by Head Bailiff Steve Allcott on Friday.
It is believed the great fish died of a heart attack.
Mary gave much pleasure to many dedicated anglers who will besaddened by the loss.
