The random computerised draw has now taken place and the Competitions Dept. of the Angling Trust are currently in the process of sending emails out to all successful competitors. The next stage in the process will be payments being taken from Monday 13 February from anyone whom has been successful.
Tickets will be going out at the end of February and early March for all qualifiers. If however, you can’t fish one of your qualifiers you must return the ticket/s in the time scale permitted in order to be refunded and for your ticket to be re-allocated according to the reserve lists. Letters and dates of returning tickets will be sent out and details will be updated on the Angling Trust website of the ticket return policy.
All of the first 15 qualifier venues will be 130 pegs, apart from Lindholme Lakes, which for the second year running will be 300 pegs as a last chance for one lucky angler to get a place in the grand final on Saturday 14 July 2012.
This year there will also be a Home International event on Sunday 15 July at Cudmore Fisheries, Newcastle Under Lyme with both events being broadcast live on Sky Sports – making it one of the most exciting weekends on the match calendar for many.
Sandra Drew, Competitions & Events Manager of the Angling Trust said:
“This year has been one of the most successful with more individual applicants entering this most prestigious competition. All qualifier venues have been filled and I, like lots of others, will be looking forward to another fantastic year of Fish ‘O’ Mania qualifiers. I would like to thank everyone for their support this year and the very best of luck to everyone taking part.”
