Bristol-based international match angler, Des Shipp, took home the £25,000 Parkdean Masters prize for the second time to complete a unique double in match fishing history.

The Preston Innovations sponsored fork lift truck driver stacked up 87-8-0 to beat a star-studded field to once again claim the prize money and the huge silver trophy, following a close fought event held on Jenny’s Lake at White Acres, Cornwall.

After an uneventful first hour with just a few F1’s Des swapped tactics and began catching carp fishing worm shallow at two feet deep, feeding a mix of chopped worm, casters and soil.

A last hour fishing full depth with casters added crucians and tench for a memorable second win of the huge prize pot.

In second place was Paul Yates, Drennan, with 79-0-0 with Paul Holland, Preston Innovations, third on 56-15-0
