With over 40 years’ angling experience ‘Nelly’ gained an early reputation as a carp angler and penned the highly successful book ‘River Carping.’ It was whilst carp fishing on the rivers that Neil fell in love with all of the other species and began to develop into one of the top all-round specialist anglers in the UK with some terrific catches of chub and barbel from a variety of venues to his credit.
