The carp record for RMC Angling’s Chertsey fishery has been smashed by this superb looking common of 27lb 8oz taken by Ian Barlow. 
Having lost a good fish on his first visit to the water Ian returned for a 24 hour session and took the fish on an Carp Company Icelandic Red boilie after a fifteen minute fight.
The big common improves the previous best for the venue by over a pound and ups Ian’s personal best by a massive 7lb.
