There is a new lake in the process of being built in a quiet location in Pembury, East Sussex, just off the A21.
It will be a carp and catfish lake with about 100 fish stocked and none of them under 20lbs.
It is currently about 4 acres and full of interesting features. It will be a members-only lake and no guests are allowed. Just 40 tickets are available.
There will be an opening day around the end of June when all interested can go down and view the lake bed to see the features before the lake is filled and stocked. The owner will also listen to suggestions and ideas to do with improvement.
