Serious watches for serious anglers. Tough enough to withstand any reasonable abuse by anglers who often get muddy, wet and rough with the gear they use.
And you don’t need a torch, or need to press any buttons to see the time even in pitch darkness as the dial and finger light sources glow brighter as it gets darker. The light sources, GTLS (Gaseous Tritium Light Source) are miniature betalites only much tougher and brighter.
The only ‘problem’ I have with the sample I’ve used (for several weeks now I might add) is that it is bulky and quite heavy at almost 14mm thick and weighing 78 grams. Although it has to be said that you don’t notice this after the first few minutes. The watch has to be thick however to accommodate the quite long length of the GTLS light sources on the numbers that make it so easy to read in total darkness.
Most certainly a tough, efficient and very accurate time piece. Take a look at the other watches in the range, there could be one that suits you more than the MX10.
