If you take a trip to Vienna then watch out! Don’t try to catchfish from the airplane. Or at least not until you’ve landed.
A new law in Vienna has banned anglers from fishing from movingvehicles, including airplanes.
And be on your guard if you intend hunting stags and deer byblowing them up with explosives. The Austrian capital has also bannedthat amusing little pastime.
Strangely though, local anglers and hunters deny they have everused such practices to catch fish and hunt deer.
But the city council say they are only passing on European Unionrules.
An official statement proclaims that the Vienna law was passedbecause they were obliged to bring angling and hunting into line withEU laws.
