Nutrabaits Big Fish Mix Concept Ready Mades – FruitSpecial
Like most carp anglers I am a big fan of using establishedlong-term food based boilies for most of my fishing. However whentravelling abroad (unless you are happy air drying your baits) youwill need bait which is effective but isn’t going to go off.
A few years ago I was fortunate enough to find the ideal shelflife/readymade boilie for my travels – Nutrabaits Big Mix Conceptready-mades.
The baits are based on the famous Big Fish Mix fishmeal base mixand also contain winning attractors such as Powdered Kelp, GreenLipped Mussel Extract, Fish Oil, Betaine HCI plus either FruitSpecial or Salmon, Caviar & Black Pepper Oil.
My first real test for them was on a 5 day trip to Fishabil inBrittany. I found that the Fruit Special flavour caught fishinstantly but didn’t blow in any way with consistent action each day.Results such as 5 x 30’s & 21 x 20’s really speak for themselvesdon’t they!
You have the choice of either 15 or 20mm sizes and as they arenice and firm you can use them confidently in your throwingstick.

I have just returned from another trip to France but this time Ineeded a bait, which would do the business for me alongside my usualfrozen boilies. I only fished 3 day-only sessions and thereforeneeded bait, which was going to do the business instantly but still,compete with the other quality baits being used by other anglers.
The Fruit Special BFM Concepts didn’t disappoint as they finishedin top spot with 8 of the 14 fish (inc 5 30’s to 38lbs+) falling tothem – awesome!
In summary – a great bait which I have lots of confidence in. Itgives you quality nutritional bait with the flexibility of a shelflife boilie. They are great for long term sessions but don’t overlookthem for a great backup bait for your UK fishing or if you can’t bebothered to roll up some bait for that short session!
