This book, published by the Barbel Society, is a tribute to thelate Peter Stone, one of angling’s legends who died last year. Peterwas undoubtedly the most well loved angler of our generation.
Over 40 well known anglers have contributed at least a page,relating some kind of story they had about Peter. The stories areinteresting, entertaining, heartwarming and funny – just like the manhimself.
The book has been issued free to all members of the Barbel Societyand all members have been given the opportunity to make a donation ifthey so wish.
A copy will also be given free to all members of the Chub StudyGroup as a gesture of good will for their contribution and the factthat Peter was also their president.
All proceeds from the book sales will be presented to his widow,Sue Stone, at the next Barbel Society conference to go to a charityof her choice.
The cost of the book is £ 9.00, including post andpacking.
