Our carp baits have been responsible for not only the capture of the largest carp in England, (two tone), but also some of the largest carp in Europe to a massive 76lb! In the French fisheries, our carp baits are responsible for catching literally hundreds of 50lb+ fish every year.

Already with a good range of baits Poacher have now added a few new ones for 2008. These include Organic Chicken that contains large quantities of fishmeal, ground tiger nuts, crushed hemp and milk powders., all flavoured with a mixture of natural extracts and a subtle chicken flavour. Another new one is PRB, yellow in colour and a mid-protein bird food bait for use all year round; flavoured with a mix of pear, raspberry and banana.
During tests the two new baits caught a large number of fish, including a 40lb 4oz cracker from Sandhurst in January 2008 and fish to over 50lb from abroad.
Verdict
Poacher Baits have earned themselves an excellent reputation with those carp anglers who know a good bait when they use one, and the new offerings for 2008 should be no exception.
Whether the fact that they’ve been rolled with organic free range eggs makes a difference I couldn’t say, but if organic food is better for us why shouldn’t it be better for the fish?
The paste, full of good ingredients and blended well
Whilst I confess to not having caught what you would call a big fish on them yet I have caught a few carp on a few days recently when others were struggling.
Both baits caught fish but the Organic Chicken with a wrap of Organic Chicken paste was exceptional. When the boilies are broken apart you can clearly see the quality ingredients and the texture has that nice moist freshness.
Dips are also available in different flavours if you prefer to enhance your hookbaits even further.
