The prizes are: a short stay and a day’s fishing on the River Wye with former angling guide, Graham Elliott; a Wychwood carp rod and reel combo, and a selection of lures provided by Rapala. The winner – as adjudged by an independent panel – can take his or her pick, leaving two prizes from which the second-place winner can choose. The day’s guided fishing can be gifted if necessary.
The competition runs until the end of May (2016) and your article / story should be at least 1,000 words. It can be instructional, humorous, tragic, enlightening…so long as it’s entertaining, send it in via cliff@wheretofish.co.uk. Photographs (sent separately and not on a Word document) and illustrations are positively welcomed. Perfect grammar is not a pre-requisite.
