They’ve worked for us, but whether that’s due to the glow-in-the-dark effect or just because the carp like the smell and taste of them anyway, we don’t know, and it’s not likely we ever will, or at least not until after a few years of using them anyway.
They’re certainly very bright and attractive visually to us, and presumably to the carp too, as has been proven time and again with fluoro pop-ups which have been catching fish for some time now. These are another step along the visual ladder so who knows, they may be even more attractive to those carp that are willing to fall for bright colours. And some days, it seems, that’s all they want.
Maybe now, with these glow in the dark pop-ups we can retain that advantage through the night too.
