Korda Anti Tangle sleeves have been specially designed to reduce tangles, they also help to push the hooklink away from the lead. When using coated hooklinks such as Hybrid or fluorocarbons like IQ, the rig will work best when the hooklink is laid out straight and away from the lead system. By incorporating these sleeves in your set up you will increase the effectiveness of your rig which will help turn more bites into hooked fish.

As with our ‘Safe Zone’ Leaders we have manufactured these sleeves in four different lakebed colours; Gravel, Weed, Clay & Silt. We have proved on the Underwater films that matching your components to the spot you are fishing will make a huge difference to your catch rates.

They are designed to work with other components from the Korda range, but they can simply be used to cover the eye of a swivel, any swivel (see pic).

Great for keeping softer materials away from lead clips, leads, and run rings, etc, and together with tubing, either hard or soft silicone, can form a semi-stiff length. You will have to use a baiting needle in order to thread the hooklink material through the sleeve.

	For carp fishing I’m using more of the coated materials these days such Kryston’s Mantis, Snake-Bite, and Fox Insider and I’m not sure whether there is any advantage in using these sleeves, but there are many occasions when I have been using very soft uncoated lines for barbel fishing. In this area, they are an absolute bonus. Let’s not forget softer fluorocarbon hooklengths too. The Extended Feeder Boom I have been playing with some hard tubing and a feeder clip/run ring from the John Roberts range with the hard tubing forced over the swivel’s eye. On the hooklink I have one of these sleeves covering the other eye of the swivel. By using a longer than normal length of the hard tubing I can fish an almost rigid length of maybe 9 inches when using Fox Megasilk, a braid I particularly like as it resembles a strand of weed in the water. I find this keeps me out of many tangles when using this very thin braid. Whatever, if you like your rigs to look ever so streamlined then these sleeves will help you to achieve that.
