FISHINGmagic VERDICT
This nifty little ‘two spool in one’ reel from Lineaeffe is an ingenious piece of design, with the ability to put on two different weights of line on each of the different spools, meaning you can switch from one to the other quickly according to what’s required. On testing it took only a couple of seconds to switch the spool over; great for when time is of the essence.
The 4 ball bearings gives a very smooth action and it came to a quick stop with almost no pull back or movement once you stop reeling in.
The great advantage of this reel is the ability to cater for different fishing conditions, and different fish, at the drop of the hat. In combination with a multi tip rod you could cover fishing an array of different species all with the one-rod and reel combo.
The Sarika Double Spool Reel from Lineaeffe would be an asset to any angler but particularly to a beginner in that it’s very affordable for the quality and that you can get stuck into fishing for a variety of species without having to spend a small fortune on extra rods and reels or spare spools.
