BURGHFIELD BLUE POOL
Paul Thomas enjoyed a spectacular day on the Blue Pool at Burghfield landing several fish in the 12 to 14lb range along with mirrors of 16lb 8oz, 20lb and the stunner of 29lb in the picture. Paul used a size 6 barbless nailer hook, an 8 inch 25lb quicksilver hook link with 4 foot of 45lb leadcore and 12 foot of 45lb Quicksilver behind that to stop cut-offs from the mussels on the snags. The bait was homemade fish and seed boilies fished snowman style in conjunction with PVA bags packed with pellets.
