| FISHERS GREEN Steve George has landed the biggest barbel of the season so far from the Old River Lee at Fishers Green in the shape of this cracker that tipped the scales at exactly 13lb.
Steve presented a link-legered lobworm bait to tempt the fish at 4pm in the afternoon which was witnessed by Neil Wayte who netted a specimen of 12lb 2oz himself. Steve has made an excellent start to his season on Fishers Green and in addition to the big barbel he has taken chub to 5lb 3oz and brown trout to 2lb 8oz. Visit RMC’s web site at |
