I assume that Relum, who are the distributors for all Rod Hutchinson products, including the Logic range of luggage, have called this rucksack a ‘Day Sack’ because it is only large enough to carry what you need for a day’s fishing.
Believe me, if I fill it I can carry everything I need for several days and nights! Any more and I wouldn’t be able to carry it at all, and I’m no weakling. The big daddy of the Logic range, the Enduro Rucksack, has a 140 litre capacity compared to the Day Sack’s 60 litres, so if you fill the Enduro and carry it then you’ll be singing in falsetto all the way home!
But let’s get serious for a moment. Not everything you carry is heavy, so a big rucker is ideal for carrying a sleeping bag and pillow, and other large, bulky items that don’t necessarily weigh too much.
The Logic Day Sack, at 60 litres capacity, is ideal for shorter sessions and is easily large enough to carry everything you could possibly need. There are loads of pockets, so many in fact I can get everything in the pockets for most of my day sessions, leaving the main compartment empty! 
All the Logic range, including the Day Sack, is made from a hard wearing material known as Korda. The shoulder straps are comfortable and there is a chest harness to stop the straps slipping off your shoulders. The chest harness is the only real complaint I have about the Day Sack, it is a little too short for us well-rounded anglers and I have a struggle to fasten it. A nice touch is that the straps zip away behind a cover when not in use, keeping them dry and clean when the rucksack is lying around at the waterside.
The central compartment has lots of room, especially when the tube neck is extended. The pockets are large and numerous. There is a long pocket down one side, two smaller pockets down the other side, a long, narrow pocket at the upper front, and a net pocket at the bottom front. The hood pocket is ideal for permits and licences. The zips have nice big tags you can get hold of easily, which is a big advantage with cold and wet hands. Other little things, like D-rings help to make it a piece of kit that definitely had anglers in mind when it was designed.
