‘Angler of the Year’ |
Rupert has had a wonderful year on the match scene with Threemilestone, coming close to the top spot on a number of occasions. He also recently came 3rd in the club’s prestigious pairs competition with the club’s press officer Paul Hancock.
What makes Rupert’s achievements more special is that he suffers from Down’s Syndrome, and with a small amount of support (when fishing) from his parents Margaret and Neil, Rupert regularly puts in a stunning performance, often beating his father by a mile?
Rupert’s cheery attitude to life and fishing is a credit to him and a lesson to us all.
This is why he won the title of ‘Angler of the Year’.
