A catch of 15 blue sharks was the tally for Paul Wickham and Ian Smith on a recent trip.
They fished from the Isle of Wight Bembridge AC boat Midnight Rambler. Paul took eight of the blues with the heaviest weighing 125lb. This fish will qualify him for best blue of the season with the Shark Angling Club of Great Britain.
Ian’s best blue weighed 80lb. And six of the total catch qualified for specimen medals.
All the fish were tagged and returned alive.
